Noticing a theme here? I like a good bargain!
I created this party for my son who turned 2 last week…I can’t believe my baby is 2 years old. If you read about my daughter’s 3rd birthday, you probably know that I use party planning as a distraction from being sad that my kids are growing up. It worked, because the party was a blast!
Party Decor
I used my DinoMite Dinosaur Party Printables to set the theme for the party…and that’s pretty much all I used for the decor! I used my cake stand from my daughter’s Cowgirl Birthday Party and the apothecary jars from every other party I do (because they’re beautiful and awesome). The cute green basket is from Hobby Lobby for $2.50. Besides that…it was all printables and therefore, super cute and super cheap. You can purchase this kit by clicking on the button below:
Food
I have probably mentioned that I suck at baking (like really suck) so I made something that even I couldn’t screw up: chocolate dipped rice krispie treats and brownies. PS these brownies are the best ever! My sister-in-law, Hilary made the cupcakes and they were so yummy!

Because these masks deserve their own headline…
Can you guess what my favorite thing was??? These super adorable party masks! The kids were a little reluctant at first, but Granddad put one on and the rest is history. They LOVED these masks and party hats! Sure, Riley thought it was an alligator, but the point is…they had fun!

And, as you can see…the birthday boy wasn’t such a fan…but the cupcakes were grand…
And so were the Rice Krispie Treats…(love that belly!)

This party was so special to me because it’s my last one before I move away from my family. I’m not moving far, but I’ll miss having Hilary as my photographer (I’m designing her website, so you’ll see it soon!) and cake decorator and having my niece and nephew help me eat all my sweets! It was so fun and I’m so glad I decided to throw one last shindig!

I have a 2 year old and 4 year old boy Birthday parties coming up this year and this is PERFECT! I love it… but how do I decided which boy to do it for?

Thanks, Melissa! I would recommend for the 4 year old…my daughter is almost four and she LOVED the masks and the whole party, but my son just wanted to eat cupcakes
