The Queen of Hearts may not be very loving, but she has some style…which is why I created this Queen of Hearts Party for Valentine’s Day!
Did Alice in Wonderland weird you out when you were a kid? I thought it was the strangest show. It was almost scary, but I couldn’t stop watching it. Now, I realize it’s because the art in that movie is fantastic. I think it’s my favorite of all of the Disney movies in terms of graphic design.
I created these printables two years ago. I wanted to throw an Alice in Wonderland tea party, and it got put on the back burner. I thought I could rejuvenate them for this party, and I’m so glad I finally got to use them. They’ll be available to download on Printable Crush on Monday!
I did everything for this party in one day. It’s simple but elegant and fun. I had the help of Laura from Pink Cake Plate with the cupcakes. I just did not want to make cupcakes and Red Velvet Whoopie Pies (recipe coming soon). She saved me, and she has a cute tutorial on her blog, so check that out!
I would hope Walt would approve of these chic printables. I love all the elements of this party, but the paper roses are my favorite. See the tutorial HERE…they’re really simple to make. If you need me, I’ll just be here with my Silhouette making paper roses and sticking them all over my house.
This Queen of Hearts Party is full of really fun elements. I made the Red Velvet Whoopie Pies using a Heart Whoopie Pie Pan and I just love the way they look (and taste). You can download the free printables on my new site, Printable Crush. I used my Silhoeutte Cameo to cut out most of the printables (if you don’t have one and you craft with paper a lot…you NEED it!)
Also, have you heard I’m offering a Hand-Lettering Workshop in Mesa, Arizona? Check out Printable Crush today to nab your ticket…they’re selling quickly!
