If you’re like us, and you have kids, you might not make it to the movies that often. When we do go, I always make sure we see a movie that we know is going to be good. I can always count on any MARVEL Avengers movies. We will definitely be getting a babysitter when MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1st. For now though, we decided to have an Avengers marathon Party to prepare for the theatrical release.
We invited some family friend sand held a pre-watching party outside. We had yummy food and some fun games for the kids. lf you live in a place with nice weather and are inviting kids over for a party, I HIGHLY recommend haring it outside. The cleanup was so easy and they really had fun playing with the Captain America Frisbee I got. I also made two targets they could aim at. These were really easy. I just cut out a large red circle, cut the middle out of it, then a small red circle and small blue circle and a star. I attached them to a white cardboard cake plate, then glued them to a long wooden dowel. So easy and the kids LOVED it!
I wanted to make this really fun for the kids, so I made the table look like a mini city. They could play with the toys I had on the table and eat at the same time…they were pretty much in heaven! I loved the building cake stands and the action figures with quote signs were really cute. I made sure that I bought all the main Avenger characters (The Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and Captain America) and I got some bad guys that they could fight 🙂
You can get the printables I made for the 3″ circles, assemble sign, 2″circles and Avengers quotes HERE! I’ll be adding a tutorial for the buildings and those printables very soon 🙂
For the food, I made a mini cake and we had snack foods like Doritos, Baked Cheese-its, and fruit kabobs. I will ALWAYS make a small cake for parties. It was the perfect size! I also gave the kids Kellogg’s Avenger fruit snacks and goodie bags while the adults watched the first Avengers and drank Dr. Pepper 🙂
I got EVERYTHING here at Walmart. Since all my parties are on a budget, I can always get everything I need there at a good price. I got plates, masks tablecloths, toys, balloons, food, drinks, movies…pretty much everything but the table!
I’m actually surprised I pulled off this party. We were all sick that week and I had a baby that was up ALL night the night before. I was so glad that I prepared for everything days in advance and that the food and decor was really easy to set up. Proof that you don’t have to have a huge budget or tons of time to throw an amazingly fun party!
We’re also going to watch the rest of the movies the before MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron release. What will you be doing to prepare?

My eldest and I have spent the past few weekends watching all of the movies in the Avengers series! I didn’t think I would be at all interested in the movies, but we had a great time and I loved them all. Captain America: Winter Soldier was AMAZING, probably my favorite. And It is confirmed: Thor is hottest of all, but Captain America & Iron Man are tied for my faves. #client
