Being the Halloween fanatic that I am, I have been holding on to tradition and I refused for years to paint any pumpkins. I gave in this year and I don’t know if I’ll ever carve a pumpkin again! The kids could be more involved because they are not allowed to actually carve and the clean up was SOOO easy! Read on to learn How to throw a MARVEL Halloween Pumpkin Painting Party for a fun and creative activity with your kids!
My kids are super hero obsessed lately and MARVEL characters are their favorites! An actual conversation that went on in the store:
Me: Guys, stop being Iron Man!
Riley: We’re not!
Me: Then stop being Black Widow.
Kids: …
Needless to say…my kids will be Black Widow and Iron Man for Halloween and I’m SOOO happy I don’t have to make their costumes and they can still be cute. I got their costumes at Walmart and I HAD to get MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron on Blu-ray. Okay, the last one was more for me. You’ll find the costumes in the Halloween section and the movie in electronics.
To make your own MARVEL Halloween Pumpkin Painting Party, you’ll need some paper plates, small pumpkins, acrylic paint, cheap paint brushes and a plastic table cloth. Also, I had my kids paint in my husband’s old t-shirts.
I had a station for each kid (labeled with my printables so there was no fighting), with popcorn as a snack and cute decorations. I let them paint the pumpkins however they wanted and they chose to copy my printables. Once they were done painting, I brought the pumpkin inside to dry on the paper plates. I just gathered up everything in the plastic table cloth and threw it away. Seriously the easiest clean up!

This was such a fun party for the kids. It had minimal decor, prep time was easy and the kids absolutely LOVED it! I have already been asked 1000 times if we can paint more pumpkins this week. And I actually said YES!
What fun MARVEL activity do you have planned for Halloween?
